MGRMC Foundation Gala
In 2024, MGRMC is celebrating its 50th anniversary year with a gala. Since 1973 the MGRMC Foundation and others have hosted the “nicest community events we have ever had” (according to reports in the 1976 Eastern Arizona Courier). We are transforming the Manor 415 Conference Center in Safford into an elegant evening cruise ship complete with dinner and dancing with The Hamptons, voted the best live band in Arizona 10 years in a row.
The MGRMC Foundation ensures that MGRMC always has the financial security to provide quality and compassionate care. Our mission is to create and cultivate opportunities to obtain a steady and sustaining stream of inspired charitable giving so our hospital can better serve our community. This gala will allow us to do just that.
Our community-owned critical access hospital is the only hospital in Graham and Greenlee County and 125 miles from a higher level of care in Southern Arizona. Since the beginning, our foundation has raised millions of dollars to furnish patient rooms, OB birthing beds, dozens of nursing scholarships, and nearly one million dollars for our cancer center. We help MGRMC expand healthcare services and options for Graham County residents allowing us to receive award-winning healthcare without traveling two and three hours away.
Join us aboard a transatlantic cruise for a luxurious night at sea - a 1920s elegant cruise.
